Downtown Grapevine provides a unique opportunity to capture some great old style natural light photography. White walls and old architecture are a perfect natural backdrop for natural light beauty sessions. I had a great time working with Iana on her portrait session. She was modeling a beautiful salmon colored dress along with accessories provided by MUA/Stylist Simaria Solis. Towards the end of the shoot, we were able to visit the Grapevine public arboretum and finish off with beautiful sun kissed shots with nature in the background.

Natural Light Beauty Session

I used my trusty Sony A7 and Zeiss 55mm 1.8 for this shoot. I new I was going to be going into a low-light situation in such a late part of the day so I needed a fast lens. All post production was done in Photoshop CC and I utilized the Greater than Gatsby photoshop presets. I have found that these presets are my go-to editing companions to help make my work-flow go by so much faster.
